Day1: Ha Noi
Arrive at Noi Bai Airport. Meet and
transfer to hotel. Take a glimpse of Ha Noi on a short city tour to
see the cultural richness of the capital of Vietnam. Tour includes
Ngoc Son Temple or pagoda of the jade mountain standing at the
northern end of Sword Lake which provides relaxing atmosphere. Then
proceed to the Old Quarter consisting of 36 commercial streets, each
lined with ancient architectural works harmonized with lakes lying
between. Overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day2: Ha Noi
Continue the sightseeing tour in Ha
Noi by the first visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the body of Ho
Chi Minh is well kept. Then visit his house built on stilts situated
nearby. Followed by the visit to One Pillar Pagoda, built by the
Emperor Ly Thai Tong in 1049; it was built of wood on a single stone
pillar, designed to resemble a lotus blossom which is a symbol of
purity. Afterward, go for the Temple of Literature with its ancient
Vietnam architecture, dedicated to Confucian cult which broke the
Buddhist monopoly in education; the temple was then regarded as the
site of the first university of Vietnam. Continue the route to the
Fine Arts Museum which gathers a collection of prestigious artifacts
of Vietnam. Historical Museum is the next destination; here you will
see the all encompassing Vietnam, its past and also its future.
Enjoy the remarkable evening in Hanoi with Water Puppet Show which
will make you appreciate the cultural background of Vietnam with the
spectacular techniques of performance. Overnight stay in Ha Noi.
Day3: Ha Noi-Sapa
In early morning, depart for Sapa
by a ten-hour-road trip. On the way, enjoy the majestic greatness of
Western North Mountains. Check-in at hotel upon arrival in Sapa and
have dinner as well as overnight.
Day4: Sapa
Start a day in Sapa with a trek for
five kilometers. On the trail, you will visit Catcat Mountain to
experience the traditional life of Black H’Mong people living
around the region and then see the electric-hydro waterfall built by
French in 1925. Along the way, enjoy panoramic view of the entire
area with many terraced paddy fields. Continue to visit Silver
waterfall, one of the famous attraction in Sapa and O Quy Ho pass
which offer magnificent view. In the afternoon, visit Dragon Jaw
Mountain and overview Sapa Town from the height. After dinner,
attend “Love Market” of Red Dao minority people, one of the
characteristic cultures of minority people in Northwestern highlands
of Vietnam (every Saturday evening). Overnight in Sapa.
Day5: Sapa-Bac Ha
Leave for Bac Ha to appreciate the
local color in Sunday morning market of minority people. Then walk
around the villages to witness the way of life of ethnic people.
Dinner and overnight in Bac Ha.
Day6: Bac Ha-Ha Noi
Leave Bac Ha and return to Ha Noi
for overnight stay.
Day7: Ha Noi-Departure
Transfer to airport for departure.
