Day1: Ho Chi Minh
Arrive at Tan Son Nhat Airport.
Meet and transfer to hotel. Make the first glimpse of Ho Chi Minh on
a short sightseeing tour including Notre Dame allowing the
recognition to the original one in France, China town the most
bustling quarter of the city, and Thien Hua Temple. Overnight stay
in Ho Chi Minh.
Day2: Ho Chi Minh -Cu Chi
Continue exploring Ho Chi Minh on
city tour including the Reunification Palace, representing the
reunited Vietnam; Historical Museum featuring a collection of
artifacts of Vietnam in different periods; War Crime Museum
displaying Chinese, Soviet and American weapons and war vestiges.
Then proceed to Cu Chi Tunnels, built to serve as the Vietnamese
guerillas’ base during the Vietnam War. This site will take you
back to those years of fierce struggles of Vietnam people; you will
comprehend why Vietnam won the War despite the overwhelming force of
modern weapons and endless money support of the opponent. Overnight
in Ho Chi Minh.
Day3: Ho Chi Minh-Con Dao
Flying to Con Dao Island, you will
see, from above, the island in a shape of a bear rising from the
sea. When arriving, visit Historical Museum featuring its being once
a prison island for Vietnamese communists. Phu Hai prison is another
site to see the war vestiges. Afterwards, you will spend your
leisure on the wonderful beach. Overnight on the island.
Day4: Con Dao
Go on sightseeing tour including
Hang Duong Cemetery, Tomb of Martyr Vo Thi Sau, and Tiger cages.
Then you will have free time for swimming. Overnight in Con Dao.
Day5: Con Dao-Ho Chi Minh
Transfer to airport to fly back to
Ho Chi Minh. Then you have a free time for shopping or at leisure.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day6: Ho Chi Minh
Transfer to Tan Son Airport for
departure.
