Day1: Ho Chi Minh City
Arrive at Tan Son Nhat Airport.
Meet and transfer to hotel. After that, you are free to explore this
charming city on your own. You will experience the color of modern
changes through many international hotels, restaurants, new high–rising
buildings, cafes, and lovely shops. In the evening, you will be
offered a boat cruise to Binh Quoi Village to enjoy folk shows and
dinner in the midst of tranquil atmosphere surrounded by water and
shady coconut trees. You will stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day2: Ho Chi Minh City
Now it is time to make better
acquaintance with Ho Chi Minh City. You will be led to major
attractions of the city which represent its historical and cultural
importance as well as miserable and remarkable events in the past.
The sightseeing tour includes Reunification Palace, representing the
reunited Vietnam; Historical Museum featuring a collection of
artifacts of Vietnam in different periods; War Crime Museum
displaying Chinese, Soviet and American weapons; Notre Dame
Cathedral a Romanesque church; Central Post Office dominant for its
French-style architecture; China town, the most bustling quarter of
the city, and Thien Hua Temple. After absorbedly knowing Ho Chi Minh
City, you will spend another overnight here.
Day3: Tay Ninh-Cu Chi
You will make a morning excursion
to Tay Ninh, situated in the northwest of Ho Chi Minh to join noon
ceremony at Cao Dai Temple which is the center of Cao Daism, a very
popular religion in the Mekong Data area. You will be amazed by the
magnificent Great Temple or Holy See and its solemn ceremony. On the
way back to Ho Chi Minh, you will visit the Cu Chi Tunnels which
will offer you the contrast atmosphere and surrounding to the
previous site. The Cu Chi Tunnels are located in the outer northern
suburbs of Ho Chi Minh City, built to serve as the Vietnamese
guerillas’ base during the Vietnam War. This site will take you
back to those years of fierce struggles of Vietnam people; you will
comprehend why Vietnam won the War despite the overwhelming force of
modern weapons and endless money support of the opponent. Then go
back to Ho Chi Minh City for overnight.
Day4: My Tho (Mekong Delta)
You will be driven to My Tho,
southwest of Ho Chi Minh City to embark for a boat ride on the
Mekong River, heading to the orchard island. On the island, you will
enjoy tasting the tropical fruits and floating in a sampan, a
typical Vietnamese boat, along small canals for sightseeing. After
disembarking, you will go visiting Vinh Trang Pagoda before retuning
to Ho Chi Minh City for overnight stay.
Day5: Ho Chi Minh -Departure
These are the last minutes for
shopping before departure.
